On Saturday, November 7, we organized the first meeting of Meet Brno in Brno for you. It was our first experience with holding a virtual meeting. The meeting took place in the Zoom application. In the beginning, we met through fun games. This was followed by a workshop full of practical tips on accommodation, insurance and advice for foreigners on what to do when they are new to Brno. We also prepared a presentation about Brno for the participants with useful tips for social life. The last workshop was focused on the non-profit sector, we gave the participants information on how to be active in the local community.
In the virtual space, we tried a fun way to pass information. For example, we used Kahoot or Jamboard. This experience was really enriching for us. We hope that participants enjoyed it as well.
