Booklet and podcasts for newcomers in Brno

 We are happy to share with you a booklet and podcasts we created with the purpose of making the life of newcomers in Brno easier and more active. You can find there basic information about administrative procedures which are waiting for newcomers in Brno, what to experience in Brno, or tips on how to stay active in your new community.

Podcasts cover topics like how to be in Brno as a local, what are the first administrative steps for newcomers in Brno, the experience of a foreign resident in Brno, international opportunities for youth, how to go for volunteering abroad, how to stay active in the local community and what are the volunteering opportunities in Brno.

Well, then you should join our PUB QUIZ (covid edition)! I know what you think….another boring online event that epitomize many things but definitely not fun. Not really! Learning Czech language

  CZECH LANGUAGE (a different kind of coffee) Pozor!, Strč prst skrz krk, Pivo, Čau, Dej mi pusu, Dobrý den, Mám ráda palačinky and Ahoj are according to participants of our Meet Brno online meeting the first words or phrases they knew in Czech. Well, Czech language compared to English is definitely more difficult. But these days there are so many digital tools that could help as well as groups to meet people with whom you can practice.
