What is "Meet Brno in Brno for you"?

Meet Brno in Brno for you, weekly integration courses! The main goal of the meetings is to motivate young people to be active in society and provide them with practical tools to help the local community. A partial goal of the weekend meeting is to support the integration of minorities into community life.

This project aims to acquaint foreigners with Czech culture, with the city of Brno, the possibilities of enjoyment in it and at the same time inform them about the possibilities offered not only by the Erasmus + and ESC programs.

This project is led by five active young people under the organization Brno for you. Organization is actively working and thus help them further develop. Our group seeking financial support for this project consists of volunteers from the Brno for you organization, who are expected to receive administrative assistance in this project. Thanks to the participation of our volunteers at events organized by the Brno for you organization, our idea was to actively participate and help integrate foreigners into our culture in our city.

Weekend meetings are for free. Project Meet Brno in Brno for you is financed by the programme European solidarity corps.

My first steps after arrival in Brno

Local volunteering

Helping in your local community The number of volunteer opportunities in Brno and Jihomoravský region is immense. Surely you will find the right one for you! All you have to do is to contact a volunteer center DC 67 dc67.cz/en based on Bratislavska street nr. 26 in Brno ( dc67.cz/en/about-us/contact ). They have a database of organisations where it is possible to volunteer and will help you to find the one where you can be useful even though you don't speak Czech fluently.
